Why am I here?

Hello everyone!

This is about those children who are not disable but are DIFFERENTLY ABLE. Palak, my lovely daughter in spite of being a Down’s child is self sufficient. She studied in normal school with normal students and passed 12th grade with 49%. At present she is effectively and efficiently managing our 18 bedded hospital.

While rearing her I came across many special aspects of life that I would like to share with all the parents worldwide. During these twenty two long years I came across many parents having a special kid and I found most of them directionless. Some of them were more concerned about the society and social stigma, some found difficulty in sparing time and few were not happy with the attitude of others towards the child. To me it is all about accepting the child whole heartedly with utmost love and affection. We chose to become parents and so I am the sole responsible person for Palak’s existence on this Mother Earth.

After all what is society? It is ultimately made by people like us! However you count money in form of either a rupee, ten, hundred or a crore, the unit is one rupee. Similarly however are bigger and  diverse people in the society, the unit of society is person like me and you. If you want the society to accept your child, you need to be the initiator. If each and every parent does so, the society would be compelled to do so

The sooner you accept the facts the better you start getting ways out.
I am here to help the slow learners and their parents in the best way I can. I am always there with you as a parent, special educator, pediatrician, counselor and a true HAMSAFAR (co-traveler).

Growth is a result of collective efforts and I want our children to grow day by day in all possible aspects. So let us walk together.
